Hen Party Volunteering Opportunities: London

When planning a hen party, volunteering may not be the first thing that springs to mind.

But hen parties have all the ingredients to be excellent volunteers. You have a team of people, united by a cause, willing to give up their time for someone they love.

Volunteering has the unique ability to make you feel good while doing something great. While you´re having a laugh and spending quality time with your hens, you can also be making a huge difference to someone's life or your local community!

If that’s not quite enough to convince you, volunteering is often a cheap or even free activity for hen parties, so it's a great complement to other more expensive activities such as spa days and wine tastings!

So now you know, why not suggest doing some community good, even if it's just for a few hours.

We've put together some of the best volunteering opportunities for hen parties in London, so keep reading to find out how you can get involved.

Get ready to be a hen party with a difference!

Spitalfields City Farm

Spitalfields City Farm is a fully volunteer-led project that brings the countryside to the city and provides education and environmental opportunities to local communities.

It was set up by volunteers in 1978 and thrives from the support of regular volunteers who help maintain the farm and gardens, look after the animals and assist in delivering projects.

If you’re based in London or choosing to celebrate your hen party there, volunteering at Spitalfields City Farm gives your hens the opportunity to do something hands-on, team-building and really unique.

Marine Conservation Society

Volunteering with The Marine Conservation Society means that you and your hen party can spend a few hours working in a group with other volunteers to pick up litter and clean up the beach local to your hen do.

It's super easy to get involved- You can join an existing event or organise your own and be part of the most influential fight against marine litter in the UK!

If you're thinking of hosting a hen party on the Thames, Brighton or Bournemouth this is a great way to get out in the open air and do some good.

Oxfam

Oxfam will welcome you to volunteer in the charity shops  to help as part of your hen party.

Additionally, if you want to run a clothes swap together you can donate any leftover items to your nearest Oxfam charity shop. By donating items to your nearest Oxfam store, you and your hens will contribute to Oxfam’s fight against poverty.
