About Hens with Heart
Our mission is to help hen parties celebrate more consciously and with social responsibility. We enable you to do so by sharing ideas, creating partnerships with charities, and offering positive hen party planning.
Hens with Heart helps you to make socially conscious choices while you celebrate, and gives you the resources to turn that into a reality. We believe alternative hen party activities that give back - like volunteering or thinking sustainably - can still feel fun, glamorous and special. And at the same time you’ll feel virtuous, fulfilled, connected, and even educated.

We inspire and enable you to give back in whatever way suits your group; whether it’s something simple and subtle, or with a bigger impact. A message from our founder
Hello! I’m Amy, the founder of Hens with Heart.
In 2019 it dawned on me that hen parties can make a major impact by doing positive things. I’ve planned a lot of hen parties and know that the average hen party might cost £3,000 for 10-12 people. On one such weekend I realised that the time, money and - most importantly - these people, could be put to so much good.
In our personal lives we have become deeply conscious about reducing waste and doing right by the world. After asking 50 women in my own network if their good intentions also made it to their hen weekend, it seems we’re not quite there yet. So, I created Hens with Heart as a way to help others to consider the same idea that has become so important to me - to be more mindful, sustainable and ethical when planning your hen do.
Volunteering has been a big part of my life for several years. I love seeing the difference that volunteering makes to those on the receiving end, but there’s another special feeling as well: how it makes you feel. And sharing that warm, virtuous feeling with some of your best friends is really beautiful.
At Hens with Heart we work directly with charities or sustainable businesses to handpick activities that we believe brides and hens will love. But for me, the most important thing is that the idea is out in the world - whether 1 hen party or 100 decide to share their love a bit further, by giving you the tools to make that choice easy, I’ve achieved what I set out to do.
