Hens with Heart is the first and only platform dedicated to hen parties that choose alternative activities that give something back to the world. We support you in finding unique things to do with your hens like volunteering or choosing a sustainable workshop, but also help you find ways to make small, simple changes at the hen party to reduce waste and help the environment.

Hens with Heart isn’t a charity - we support and promote other charities! Hens with Heart is a self-funded small social enterprise and any money we do make goes towards running and improving our website and community.

You can use the website as a resource to help you easily find and contact charities and other ethical businesses when planning a hen do. We’re here to inspire you with ideas and activities for your hen party that you may have never thought of, and make it easy for you to book them.

If you want extra help you can also take advantage of our Positive Hen Party Planning, with different levels to support you based on your needs or interests.

Hens with Heart is focused on hen parties in the UK. We aim to provide resources and ideas for hen parties across the UK, but if you do choose to travel abroad, we could help you find something there, too. If you don’t find something in the location you’re planning to celebrate, please contact us and we’d love to help you find something.

We won’t plan your entire hen weekend but we have loads of services and resources that make the stressful parts simple, and help you find and book great activities.

As you might imagine, the idea for Hens with Heart came to our founder, Amy, when she was on a hen do in 2019. While spending the weekend in a gorgeous house with 20 other women, she looked around and it occurred to her: With all the time and money spent on a hen weekend like this, surely we could find a couple of hours together to give something back? There were also important conversations that weekend about what to do with leftover food (which was taken to a food bank!), and it became apparent that the idea to do good for the world could apply to many elements of a hen party.

If you want to, then we applaud you! But we know that making completely ethical, sustainable or zero waste choices is a challenge, and to achieve that for an entire hen do would be tough. We also know how important it is to set the tone and make your hen party gram-worthy, and the last thing we are is hen party-poopers. If you choose to do even the simplest thing, then you’re a Hen with Heart and we’ve done what we came here to do.
