Bake & Donate Cakes
Baking cakes together or doing a cake workshop is a lovely way to spend a few hours with your hens if you’re a fan of making (or eating!) cake. It’s a relaxing and mindful way to spend a few hours together over the weekend with your friends & hens.
The fun doesn’t need to stop at your hen do, since you can easily pass on some cake-fuelled joy at the same time to other people who may not be able to afford it themselves.
There are some wonderful charities who work to feed people who struggle to buy food; like shelters, food banks, women’s refuges and Free Cakes For Kids who specifically provide birthday cakes.
If you’re going to do some baking and want to make an impact on the local community as well, then consider making some extra cakes or a special one that can be donated.
