Ouseburn Farm
Volunteer at a city farm if your bride loves animals or being outdoors.
About Ouseburn Farm
Ouseburn Farm is based in Newcastle, in the Ouseburn Valley. They bring the countryside to the city and give visitors the opportunity to learn about the origins of food and care for nature by engaging with farm life.
Founded in 1976 when a group of parents took over a plot of land on the site where the Farm is now, they wanted their children to have access to nature, to grow their own food and take care of animals. And your hen party can benefit from this, too!

Why Volunteer at Ouseburn Farm?
If you’re based in Newcastle or choosing to celebrating your hen party there, volunteering at Ouseburn Farm gives your hens the opportunity to do something outside in nature that’s hands-on, and really unique.
Getting outside and spending time with animals are wonderful ways to improve your own well-being, reduce stress and anxiety, and feel more relaxed. What could be better to feel at your hen party?
They are also a care farm and their placement programme for adults with learning disabilities, difficulties and ASD (autistic spectrum disorder) is central to their work. Your volunteer support helps people to benefit from this program.
