An Easy, Affordable Hen Party Game
Earlier this year the lovely people at Manic Minute sent me their new game to test out for hen parties and it didn’t disappoint!
I took Manic Minute on a weekend away with some friends and we tried it out over a few glasses of wine after dinner.
How To Play Manic Minute
The premise of the game is simple: you pull a card and everyone has 1 minute to write down as many words as possible that correspond with the topic.
However, the catch is that you only get a point if no one else thought of the same word as you - so unique and niche ideas are the goal and it makes for some crazy and hilarious answers!
The game includes pencils, branded paper and an egg time so it’s ready to go straight out of the box.
We played the 18+ version, which has lots of cheeky and naughty cards… when I say we were crying with laughter I really mean it.
It’s not quite as shocking as Cards Against Humanity, but we all know that game well by now, so it’s refreshing to have an alternative that gets just as many laughs.
A low-cost, planet-friendly hen party game
This is a fantastic game to buy for a hen do. It’s affordable, easy to get the hang of, and will quickly unite your group and get everyone laughing together.
Plus, you could take this on all the hen parties you go to and it would never feel like the same game twice. It’s a planet-friendly way to bring the fun to a hen - or any other gathering for that matter!
Everyone’s inlcuded
One thing I really love about Manic Minute is that they’ve made a real effort to be inclusive with the cards - there’s some carefully considered LGBTQ+ tailored cards in there, which makes this more than your typical naughty hen party game usually focuses on opposite sex relationships.
If you want to keep it more PG (maybe you have mums or other family members going) you can also get the original family-friendly version.
You can buy Manic Minute on Amazon or on the Manic Minute website.
