Rent Hen Party Outfits & Accessories

We’re all thinking harder these days about how we can avoid fast fashion, or accessories with a single-use purpose. A hen party is always a great reason for a new outfit and an opportunity to play with your party style, but these outfits and bridal accessories often go to waste or can’t be reworn (especially if you’re the Bride!)

How to rent an outfit for your hen

Renting an outfit is really easy, but we’ve pulled together a few tips to make sure it’s a seamless process for you:

  1. Allow yourself plenty of time if you’re planning to rent - sometimes the delivery times aren’t as quick as buying from a fashion website.

  2. Think about the type of outfit you’re going for in advance - whether that’s colour or style. We encourage renting for a part of the hen when you know you can be careful with the outfit, since you’re going to be giving it back after.

  3. When you’re browsing different apps, use the categories and filters based on what you’ve set out to look for, to make it fast and easy to find options and whittle it down to fewer choices.

  4. Check the timeframe for keeping the item once you’ve rented it - so you can plan for when to have it delivered to you with enough time to return it afterwards.

  5. After you’ve worn the pieces, make sure you check them for any marks or damage and get them fixed or cleaned before returning them.

When you’re planning your hen party don’t forget to encourage all your hens to think about how they’re going to source their outfits, and see how much fast fashion consumption you can reduce together! You can also read our advice on other ways you can avoid fast fashion at your hen party.
